Do I need special skills or specific knowledge to carry out the activities?

No, you don’t. One of the main objectives of Simbiose is that anyone can participate in our actions, that’s why they are accessible. To participate you just need some motivation and desire for new experiences!

Make sure you read the description of the action you want to join correctly, some actions may not be appropriate for the situation you are at the moment (for example, a sprain can make difficult to collect garbage on the beach).

From which age can I start participating in the actions?

In Simbiose, the actions are open to all ages. However, if you are under 16, you must be accompanied by your mother, father or legal guardian. If you are between 16 and 18 years old, you can come alone to our actions, but we need the permission of your father or mother or legal guardian.

I am between 16 and 18 years old, where can I get permission for my father/mother or legal guardian to suscribe?

Here you can download the document to enroll in an action. When you receive the confirmation email of registration, the document will also be attached. In case your parents or legal tutor have a digital signature you can send us the permission to participacion@asociacionsimbiose.org. In case they do not have it you can bring the signed permission the same day of the action (attention!, we only accept original documents, not copies).

I have to cancel my participation in an action! What can I do?

If you can’t attend, you can cancel your participation by sending an email to participacion@asociacionsimbiose.org. It is very important that you do it so another person can register in your place. In case you cancel on the same day the activity is taking place, remember to contact the referent of the activity from Simbiose team to let him/her know.

I have already registered but no confirmation email has arrived yet, what do I do?

The Internet connection may have failed, so we recommend you to re-enroll. Another possibility is that our server has failed, in this case, please send us an email to participacion@asociacionsimbiose.org and we will try to solve the problem  as soon as possible.

I love the idea of ​​participating but I prefer to go with a friend, is there any problem?

Of course there is no problem, in Simbiose we are happy that you attend accompanied by classmates or colleagues, friends, family … the more people the better! But in order to have some control they must also register in the activity, just like you. As you know, there are certain actions that have a limit of places, for greater comfort of the group and the entity that welcomes us, so basically it is essential to register.

We are a large group and we would like to participate in the same action all together, is that possible?

If you belong to any entity or company do not hesitate to contact us to manage your participation through the institution you belong to [organizacions@asociacionsimbiose.org].

If you are part of an informal group, such as a group of friends, please also contact us to manage your participation through the e-mail address participacion@asociacionsimbiose.org.

I have an idea for an action, although I’m not sure if it fits, can I send it to you?

Of course, all new actions are welcome at Simbiose! We want to encourage local participation and constantly create new links between people and entities, so new proposals are always welcomed with much love. Send us all your proposals through our participation mailbox or by sending an email to participacion@asociacionsimbiose.org.

I’ve heard about SiMBIOSE and I think we could make a good tandem, how could we connect?

You can’t imagine how happy it makes us to open new horizons with new entities and new actions! Please, contact us through organizacions@asociacionsimbiose.org and we can begin to create our link.

Do you accept actions of all kinds?

In Simbiose we accept any type of action that is framed in the following criteria:

• Comply with a social and / or environmental need.
• Short actions: they must last between a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 hours.
• Accessible actions: that any person with motivation, eagerness and open minded can carry out.
• Collective actions: the action must be provided by at least 3 people.
• They will never be activities to raise funds for the entity.

What relationship do I have with the participants of Simbiose?

Simbiose is in charge of sending the participants and, before starting the activity, it explains all the necessary information to optimally carry out the specific action. All this information that our association offers you is previously marked through the meetings and / or exchanges that we have with your organization.

On the same day of the action, a person from our association will welcome the participants and make sure that they are in the right place and form. Once all the participants have arrived, a member of your organization should take the time to present their association and its activities so that people know more about your work.

During the action, your entity must manage the team and ensure that all participants have tasks to do.

How to be sure that the participants are serious and competent?

In all actions there is a responsible person who makes sure to send reminders to registered persons, and they are asked to confirm their participation in the action. These contacts before the action also help to verify the motivation of the people registered.

In terms of skills and competences, as specified in the type of actions that we support, only missions that do not require special skills are offered, and all people can perform them independently of their training, experience, etc.
